LEARN HOW TO PASS THE PE EXAM
1. Learn the key concepts and skills on the PE exam with the technical study guide.
The first step in passing the PE exam is to learn the key concepts and skills on the topics presented in the NCEES Outline for your specific PE Exam (Power, Thermal, HVAC or Machine Design). These key concepts and skills are presented concisely and in an easy to read format in the technical study guides. Figures and cheat sheets are provided for your use.
2. Gather the necessary references and tab the important sections with the References Exam.
The second step is to have the correct references for the PE exam and to ensure that you know and understand the important parts of each reference. The reference exam takes you through your references by giving you exam problems on the various important parts of each reference.
3. Test your abilities with the FULL EXAM and gauge your weak/strong areas.
Finally, you need to test your abilities with an exam that is closest to the actual PE exam. Engineering Pro Guides exams are created based on the four criteria that are used to determine what will be on the PE exam.
4. Repeat as necessary.
Once you find your weak areas, then you should go back and revisit the key concepts and skills within those topics such that you can be better prepared for the actual PE Exam.
